Government Tier system and local rules

  • Our pub operates within the rules of the Government Tier system
  • The Tier our pub is currently in is detailed at the top of this page.  This is subject to change, please ensure you check before visiting our pub.  Head to the Government website for full details on what being in this Tier means
  • Please ensure you adhere to the Tier rules of the area you live in when you are visiting our pub

Opening Times and Bookings

Single Households, Support Bubbles and Rule of Six

  • Inside, you must not socialise with anyone you do not live with or who is not in your support bubble – mixed household bookings will therefore no longer be able to be accepted indoors
  • Outside, the ‘rule of six’ applies, mixed households can be accepted but must be booked or checked in by the host.   Please note, if the weather is not favourable for sitting outside, we may not be able to accommodate you inside the pub.  If the weather does turn, we will not be able to offer any refunds for unfinished meals and drinks
  • We can accommodate tables up to 6 people maximum.  The time a table can be booked for might be restricted, please check when booking

Substantial Meal, Table Service and App

  • Our pub must operate as a restaurant to remain open, therefore you will only be able to enjoy an alcoholic drink once you have purchased a substantial meal from our menu.  You may visit for a non-alcoholic drink, including hot drinks, without the purchase of food
  • We will serve you at the table or you can order via our app.  There is no service from the bar

Face Coverings are Mandatory

  • All customers must wear a face covering when entering our premises. Face coverings can be removed when eating or drinking (Government exemptions apply)
  • Our front of house team members will also be wearing a face covering

Test & Trace

  • A host or team member will meet you at the door.  The lead booker must give their contact details when entering the pub along with the size of the group. This is a legal requirement, and we will refuse entry if these details are not given. This can either be done by using the NHS Test & Trace app or by giving us your details to be recorded in our Test & Trace system. Your details will be stored securely and then destroyed after a 21-day period

Other changes we've made and safety measures in place

  • The host will take you to your table and explain all the guidelines that are in place
  • There is social distancing signage and sanitiser points throughout the pub.  Entrances and exits are clearly signalled to enable you to enter and leave safely.  Please follow this
  • We have gone cashless. You can pay though the app or with a card or through your mobile. We've increased contactless to £45.  (Please speak to us if you have any issues or concerns regarding non-cash payments)
  • Children need to be with you at all times
  • We've introduced a 3 Point Plan to summarise all the steps we're taking to keep our guests and team safe - have a look at our video
